Maru Dojo Martial Arts

Maru Dojo offers classes in Aikido and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Beginners are welcome. Children's classes are offered on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class explores the application of aikido's various wrist and shoulder lock techniques and combining Judo's powerful sweeps and throws. The BJJ class does not focus on competition agenda. Aikido class teaches students to yield and/or blend with motions without compromising their assertiveness on and off the mat. Advanced training in aikido emphasizes on nullifying various attacks from kicks, edged weapons and BJJ take downs. Beginners are always welcome and no experience is not required.
