tripadvisorWe love eating at pubs in each city we visit. This one is kind of small and more like a bar. There was a loud drunk guy that made us a little scared. The food and service were awesome. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the grilled chicken wrap. I would recommend it for anyone looking for pub food.
MoreIt wasn’t for US… and that was clear. Certain people were not welcomed by the owner! We wouldn’t recommend people of color
MoreThe food was VERY good and we got to meet the two lovely ladies who were running the pub. The pub got extremely busy and both young ladies handled everyones needs with professionalism .This was our first visit and if we come back to Dunedin would eat here again Whoever was preparing the food did a great job. Kudos to the chef!
MoreLocal bar with great food. My husband and I usually go to Flanagan's once a week for lunch. John really knows how to pour a perfect Guinness . The food is great. We've had a lot of the sandwiches, wraps, flat breads and shepherd's pie. Today I had the haddock wrap with the home-made chips. My husband gets the flatbread a lot and says it's the best he's ever had. Love this place.
MoreWalking down Main St, our 1st time seeing Dunedin's Halloween candy give away. Lotsa families & costumes, so we hopped in Flanagan's shortly before 6pm. Brandi came right over & hubby knew he wanted The Flanagan, delish sandwich w/corned beef, cheddar, bacon, slaw & pickles on a pretzel bun, he loooved it. I had steak bites w/this delish honey horseradish sauce, never had it before & really liked it. Were gonna pass up dessert cuz had just been to Cheesecake Factory w/four slices to go, lol. But Brandi talked us into this superb choco PB ch'cake, huge! No live music at 6p, but maybe later, we saw the stage area.
