Its the free trolley from the AMC theatre to Navy Pier and you should always tip because its excellent service.

The trolley tours can be an ideal way for those who don't want to exhaust themselves touring around the main attractions. It works for me. The trolley itself is unique, with local character. We pass main streets, fabulous shops and restaurants and magnificent architectures, taking notes of what I can do on my own the next day or just this afternoon. So this kind of tour can be taken as a scouting for later itineraries of the city. With a small fee, a few hours riding, I get a clear glimpse and picture of what Chicago is mostly like and how I can spend my time getting to know it better. Worthwhile.

Yes, the other trolley companies may have more vehicles, but the service we got was great. The driver went above by allowing 3-70+ people to be dropped of while this 'suburbanite' went to locate a parking lot, not to mention, the trolley was not even at a scheduled stop. We called every time we did an off/on stop to see how long before the next trolley would arrive and NEVER waited more than what they told us, the longest was 40 minutes. All this on a busy Labor day weekend.

I walked all over looking for their location and finally their trolley came around so I asked the driver how to use my groupon. The driver/guide was great but in my opinion they need more trolleys and more details on how to track them down.
