Enjoyed the Open Mic night for the songwriting ladies, Alexis Fontaine and Catherine Kirk ( hope I spelled it right). They were an amazing treat when we had happened to drop by for a cocktail. This venue is within walking distance of the coolest Airbnb The Treehouse, nearby ( highly recommended).Traveling through Birmingham and was surprised that a venue is still smokey like olden days. When I saw the soundboard guy hit his vape pen one more time, my spouse asked if he could smoke it outside. The little guy said “I’m the manager “ and he and his friend laughed at our request. Other patrons were also vaping and blowing smoke in what would been a great place. The place stunk from this smoke. My throat hurt from it. Drinks were $2 off on a Thursday and our bartender/waitress served them up with great service. This place would be stellar if it joined this century and was smoke free. Managers should know better.

Bartender racially profiled me and told me he wouldn't serve me or my friends. This place should be shut down for the blatant disrespect they show black patrons.

This place is like cheers. I made new friends before I left. Tons of games. Gorgeous patio looking over Southside. Free live music on the weekends. The bartenders made me feel at home and remembered my order! Great service. Dogs are also allowed

This bar so quaint! The cheers of the South. They have a huge whiskey selection with many rare bottles. They also have 18 taps and 25 feetnof beer troughs. It’s in the basement of a gorgeous early 1900s building. The bartenders are fun and sassy. They have a game room in the back with air hockey, darts, and golden tee. So much fun! And cheap!

D'wan was amazing. Her service was a 10 on all levels. Brought a group of professionals for team builder and she made it monumental. Great selection of whiskey and we will be back. Give her raise she is worth it.
