tripadvisorI STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST PATRONIZING this establishment. Read on to discover that their staff checks cash paying people in incorrectly without using someone else's credit card as a common practice. I was charged twice in the span of 30 minutes days after checking out and leaving the state. The stay itself was mediocre at best. The hotel itself is old as are the rooms. In the rear of the property was a pile of old mattresses that appeared to have been there a while. Our car was also tampered with just outside our room. When reported to the front desk, they explained the cameras around the property would catch someone and they would let me know.Moving on to the fraud that occurred once I left. Two full days after I checked out of this location I received two charges to my credit card, one in the amount of $154.48 and a second charge in the amount of $147.64, neither of which I authorized as I was over 400 miles away, checking into another hotel. When I called and spoke with Valerie, she identified one of the two charges and stated she would take care of it and what probably happened was someone checked in with cash and the clerk USED MY CREDIT CARD! I expressed this was not ok OBVIOUSLY and she didn't have a solid reason why that individual would have access to my information in the first place.Bottom line here... DON'T STAY HERE, unless you like paying for other's rooms on your payment form. Thank you for reading. Wishing you a safe and magical day.
MoreThere was a roach in the room. The room was dirty, especially the floor. We should have checked the room before we paid. The pillows were terrible if you want to call them pillows. If you want to stay here make sure you check the room first, especially for roaches.
MoreNothing like the pictures, pictures show updated rooms, lobby etc. This was a sad excuse of a motel. Very sketchy area, was laughed at by the employees when I asked if they had inside rooms like the pictures showed. And room was disgusting, run down and shower head was coming out of the wall.
MoreYou get what you pay for, the rooms are pretty decent, there's lots of things to do as well like the bar next door and the town is very nice as well. I would definitely stay again. Give it a try, you'll be surprised how false and misleading some of these reviews are.
MoreIf I could give zero stars I would. After arriving to the hotel at 11pm things just got worse by the minute. While the sole gentleman there was kind, that's all I can say about this place. The lobby had a smell of smoke, age, and dirt but checked in anyway and got room key. ROOM 310. As we ventured thru the breezeway it had every element of a Dateline Show! Dark, sketchy, dirty, everything. Upon entering the room, I was mortified. PLEASE KNOW MY STANDARDS ARE NOT HIGH, so even for me this was WHOA. Room was filthy, horrible smell smoke, dirt, and Lord knows what...Floors felt like laminate covering a sink hole, lamp shade still with plastic that was covered in grime and some liquid, holes in the wall, LARGE dry wall holes, door felt like the wind would bring it down,..then the bathroom!Looked like blush was wiped on the wallIn 4 huge areas (or blood, let's say blush) towels dirty and obvious excessive wear, I think if used you'd come out dirtier than when ya went in...I will say with certainty this was the worse hotel I have ever seen. It was so bad we literally were in little room long enough to see enough and headed to the front desk.Asked for another room, none available so we literally walked away from $200 and felt 100% ok with that...ended up sleeping in the car with my daughter. It was so sketchy, and filthy, there was no way I could stay there with her! Literally she even asked about how safe we or our car was, and since I couldn't honestly guarantee anything we had to go! Avoid avoid avoid!! Worst hotel ever seen and I've seen some doozies. Just regret not taking pics, as you have to see this to believe that this is allowed and acceptable...(this was room 131)DO NOT STAY HERE!!!AGAIN PHOTOS POSTED FROM THE HOTEL ARE STOCK PHOTOS NOT ACTUAL PHOTOS.
