The Bossier City Art Council is a must for anyone who loves to support local artists, walk freely thru the space with fresh coffee and talk to the staff about the building, their mission, the artists. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were so welcoming and the atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. Not snobby like at some of the art and museum places. So refreshing! Their mission is to showcase Louisian artists which is awesome and why we went there! We left with a painting and will be back on our next visit. Thanks to all for a wonderful experience!

i m all for the arts, especially when they are next door to the best IPA brewery and pizza in this part of the country. Flying Heart. across the street from Arts council is a huge lot where they have open air concerts etc.

Located at the East Bank District & Plaza in Bossier City, between Horse Shoe Casino and Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets, the Bossier Arts Council is a great place to go if you'd like to know more about art. The BAC highlights the work of local artists of all kinds (painting, jewelry, sculpture etc...) and exhibitions change regularly. The atmosphere is warming, the staff is friendly, and it's free!!

The East Bank District is fun. It is a tiny piece of heaven. It has a Crafthouse, great little stores as well. The theater is also really nice and interesting, a lot of history in the town. Bike Lines are available, which I love. Everyone should come visit the East Bank District, has the most amazing view of the city.
