After many years of dedicated services at this salon, having to wait well past my appointment multiple times, providing gift baskets to staff members, and enjoying many other services....it happened. I decided to change what I wanted to have done and this pissed off the stylist. She scratched at my scalp, pushed my head, my wash was more of a bath as the water was flying everywhere. Then instead of the normal go under the dryer for a short amount of time, I was left to sit in the chair while I'm off to lunch, just sit. Well for someone with severe back issues, sitting in that chair for an hour was very uncomfortable. She made me wait several times while she had conversations with other staff, had to go to the front several times, and just wasted a lot of time for nothing. Then she was very rough brushing out my hair, turned the heat on HOT even when I said that it was too hot, she kept going. Then she said I'll just give you a little trim.....I'm sure I paid a lot for the 3-4 snips she did. I was in disbelief since she always commented on how patient I was whenever she was running late. I guess she forgot about that...hmmm. Well I am no longer submitting myself to that immature, unprofessional behavior and will definitely be telling all of my friends.

Visited Terrame Spa Madison first time today. Absolutely loved my entire experience from happy greetings at the front desk to the bright smiles of helpful concierges who escorted me to spa rooms on 2nd Fl. Andrea waxed my legs to smooth perfection. She did an exceptional job & didn’t leave any tiny blond hairs. Andrea has a great personality and it was just a pleasure to meet such a sweet soul this morning. She is my new Go To Professional from now on! JoAnna did my blowout service. I got the extra scalp massage. JoAnna made sure every step of the service was relaxing and just perfectly performed. I can’t express how great the shampoo/ massage felt. She has magic hands. I felt my cares slip away during this service. I love having my hair blow dried/ styled. JoAnna took her time with My hair which is long below the shoulders. She even used the curling iron to add extra volume & curl. JoAnna is a Keeper too. I will certainly use her for future blow dry bar services. I loved escaping into serenity if only for a few hours at Terrame Spa. The people who work there and their positive smiling attitudes are what made it really special for this customer on this morning! Keep IT up!

The owner Charles has anger issues. I was a client for 4 years. He is unprofessional and could care less about the client. I called Lisa another owner to let her know how Charles spoke to me and she never called back. Find another salon.

Terrame is everything an innovative, creative and upscale salon/spa is supposed to be. They treat you with upmost respect and care, and deliver top notch services, whether it's massages, facials or hair cuts/color/styles. The downstairs is all hair, and you go upstairs and are suddenly on an island of tranquility. I can't wait for my next massage and facial.

Relaxing atmosphere with extras and attention to detail, kind & attentive staff, array of services, a little pricier, but you get what you pay for—My massage was excellent!
