While visiting Minneapolis, we knew we wanted to take a cruise on the Minneapolis Queen and see the city from the Mississippi River, so ahead of time we booked the excursion online. Having enjoyed the southern stretch of the Mississippi aboard the Natchez in New Orleans, we were looking forward to experiencing the river up north. It’s amazing to think that this mighty river runs right down the middle of our country, all the way from Minnesota to Louisiana! The Minneapolis Queen is considerably smaller than the Natchez, but that’s part of its charm. It has a more intimate feel, plenty of room to relax on either the upper or lower deck, and easy access to the outdoors whenever you want to feel the breeze and take in the scenery. And what scenery it was! Since it was September, the trees were already showing off their spectacular fall colors, with brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow along the riverbanks. Passing through the locks was a fun experience, and getting an up-close look at the iconic Stone Arch Bridge was another highlight.Of course, no relaxing cruise would be complete without a little food and drink, and the Minneapolis Queen has you covered there, too!All in all, it was the perfect way to slow down, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and experience Minneapolis from a different perspective. If you're visiting Minneapolis, we highly recommend taking a spin on the Minneapolis Queen. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy the city, the changing seasons, and one of America's great rivers!

Amazing experience. We cruised Lake Minnetonka. Boats were very clean, and the staff were so professional and friendly! Definitely a well-run business.

Had a business outing on Lake Minnetonka on a private charter. We really enjoyed our time. Cruise and staff were professional and accommodating. They can do as much or as little as you'd like. The food ordered was very good and had portions were generous. Sitting up on the top deck provided great views of the homes and sites on Lake Minnetonka. The enclosed lower deck was a bit warm as it was 80+ degrees outside and the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up. I felt that everything was well ran and we would recommend!

It was 88 and sunny, the boat was full, the drinks were cold, and the sun was hot but a great breeze. We had a great captain he told a few funny stories and a gave a few commentaries on a few of the islands and pointed out a few homes, the people have asked the narrators to leave their names out now. Google lives onthis boat is covered on top and no open outside seating, this is why we choose this boat. the lower level of the boat the front is open, and the back half is covered s well. perfect weather and great experience, nice not having to drive the boat and just relax. Couldn't believe how fast it went by.we will be back thanks Paradise charters for a great day.I should ask sometimes they do play music if you don't like it or too loud just ask and they will change or lower the volume.one lady behind was really loud sometimes louder than the captain.the wait was great too and came up on top and ask for drink orders so we didn't have to go downloved the reminder text today that we had a boat ride in addition the directions and parking was easy ahoy till next time

This place is super unprofessional. They called us 3 hours before our cruise was supposed to happen and told us they were not only cancelling it but they were not giving us a refund. The lady I talked with was very unprofessional and not helpful at all. Would not recommend.
