tripadvisorThe views from the 28th floor were very enjoyable. Now called the Oasis at Orange Beach formerly Phoenix West 2. The suite was not well maintained and was dated. The fold out was terrible and on it's last legs. And there were Jelly fish wounding the ocean goers. Some quite seriously taking the fun out of the ocean. We saw manatees swimming by regularly. and dolphins and other fish feeding on the bait fish. The outdoor patio was nice. The lazy river was very crowded... the pool with the hoyer lift was very nice, but I could not take in my 13 year old grandson to help me with my wife, which was inconsiderate of the nature of a handicap person that requires 2 people to transfer her. No exceptions. Loved the location. Great food, avoid Tacky Jacks. The Grouper got us... LOVED the sandy beach. great sand
MoreI can't believe the outrageous entry fees!!! Be prepared to spend $45 per tournament per person. We had back to back tournaments and it set us back $190!! Isn't that nice of them with inflation and gas prices. We are retired grandparents on a fixed income! Won't be back to Gulf Shores sorry to say! Less money for local economy. Never have paid anything for a usssa tournament.
MoreGreat atmosphere. Fields are set up nice. Bathrooms are clean and concession stand was set up and running smoothly. We had a good week plying here. Directors and Staff were Great!!!
MoreThey take pride in maintaining this community sports complex. The fields are worthy of any college. They have baseball, softball, &soccer fields, & beach volleyball courts. The complex also has an amazing area for small children to play. Just a quarter mile from the complex sits beautiful hidden lake, (a great area to sit and read or have a picnic). There are also Osprey nests up in the ball field lights, if you love these large, beautiful raptors.
MoreBeautiful facility. Went there for a workout with my son while we were recently in town. My wife ran on the trails, and we used some of the open space for a bit. The facility looks pretty new and is very well maintained, quite a jewel in Orange Beach.
