I come here periodically to walk my dog, there is a very popular dog park with separate areas for small & large dogs. One of the nicest playgrounds in Mobile with a Splash pad for hot days. Park has public restrooms, large parking lot, tennis courts, soccer, football, baseball fields, gymnastics. Park is very walkable, part of park has wooded trails. I always see people walking, exercising. Several shaded picnic pavilions near playground, splash pad that are available to rent for birthday parties.

The disc golf course is very clean and nicely planned out. Very nice trails thru the woods, peaceful and tranquil. It has become one of our favorites as it’s not so spaced out that it takes forever to walk it. My kids even enjoy this course and afterwards we head over to the playground. The playground is nice and there is plenty of seating to see your child anywhere on the playground.

The old wooden playground was getting worn down and thankfully, the City Council along with some support from the Mobile County Commission, the playground has been significantly upgraded. The theme is Transportation in the Port City and the playground equipment reflects that theme with a bus, replicas of the downtown Mobile towers, and a ship. Also, do not miss the pavilion with tiles of children's handprints. Your kids or grandkids will have a blast!
