Do not go to this library if you need to use the computer for anything serious. You'll spend more time listening to the librarians opinions of you and your typing skills than getting any actual work done.

The library is being renovated with fresh paint jobs and new furniture. New whiteboards and tables along the windows facing Granbury.

As a homeschool mom, I frequent the library often. They most always have what I am looking for so they have quite a nice selection and can even get what I need through other locations. They also have the option of making suggestions for future purchases which is nice. I love the feature from their app where I can reserve my books and DVDs online and they have them ready for me when I get there. I love the Franklin library!!!

While you can't check out books while you aren't a county resident, you can still peruse their used book sale. There is quite a large selection of books, CDs and movies to choose from and their prices are reasonable. Also very clean restrooms that are open to the public.

I mainly go here to check out novels but they have plenty of area for research and several desks you can work at. The staff are also friendly and helpful.
