tripadvisorLet’s start with this being a birthday party. Like everything here way overpriced! Minimum is 8 kids. I did like the tables have birthday balloon covered table clothes with plastic durable covers. I like the name of the birthday child on the table with an agenda. However, this is a target not an actual time frame, well other then the fact you will be told to vacate the area immediately and you cannot take any cupcakes or cake over to the cafe area. We went when it was almost 100 spdegrees so either toss the cake or leave at the two hour mark. I do like that kids are allowed to keep skating past the two hour make. I didn’t like that the skate trainers are two hour time limit for $5 and you skate the first hour so it is sitting for an hour while eating cake and present! I also didn’t like that they give out trainers to kids without looking at height so by the time we got ours a 11 year old who with skates were close to 6 feet tall ad a trainer made for someone less the. 4 feet! I also didn’t like the pizza was cold the lemonade hot and the tiny cups are ridiculous! Finally, the “hostess” should be the ones to get the skates and they should ask for kids sizes before they get there we had one little girl that waited 20 mins for her skates so she had only about 20 mins of skate time u til we were called to pizza. They have expanded their extremely over priced game if area and seriously $6 for about three minuet game. The prices are also ridiculous! We paid for the picture in the little fire engine only not to have it. I think for about $50 they ended up with two sour candies that were smaller than a jolly rancher and a super tiny butterfly a little bigger that a pencil eraser. Also, I can see why they don’t allow ice cream to be brought in, they now have ice cream at $6 a scoop. Over all for $250 would say there are way better things to do.
MoreWe've been coming here for along time. Gone Down hill .. my 13 year old had to remove her skates 5 different times just to get her water at a table where I sat and couldn't watch her skate unless I stood the entire time to babysit her water .. this place is getting worse not better. I have a bad back and couldn't skate with her nor could I watch her skate. She mentioned as soon as we got in car Mom I don't want to come here anymore, skating is already tiring then on top of that I have to keep taking my skates on and off. It's not worth it. Your regular speed skaters there you need to have them calm down too. I can't tell you how many kids they run into because they think the own that rink because they are better or faster than everyone there. It's so sad. The employees don't say anything to them. Floor for skating is awful too. Very outdated . Uneven..
MoreDrove from Chicago to drop our son off to report to Ft Campbell. We found this place on the Internet before we arrived as our son LOVES roller skating. The rink looks like it's a nice size on the website pics, but it was about half the size of our rink at home. We went on 11/18/23. It was $12 pp which included skates. My son didn't like that he still had to pay $12 although he had his own skates. The music wasn't great, but ok. Something was wrong with the sound system, and it kept repeating the same 4 songs for the last 30 minutes of our session. He was happy that they allowed airpods/earphones, so he listened to his own music. He won a PS5 playing a game in the arcade. That was the highlight of the night! We had just gone to the Exchange on base to price one and God blessed him with one for $40 (how much he spent playing this one game). LOL! Since then, he's gone back twice in one week. I think he will be a regular here.
MoreMagic Wheels was amazing growing up. It was affordable, charming, had decent music, and usually wasn't too crowded. Now, tickets are $12 each, making budget friendly family events much less budget friendly compared to their previous $7 admission. It's also lost the charm by shutting down half the rink to put in a hand-me-down McDonald's PlayPlace. Always reeks skating past, and is always ridiculously loud and crowded. The music took a turn as well. Back in like 2010-2016, you could go in with $20 and have a birthday to remember. Now, you're lucky to remember anything other than the cuts of silence in their music cause they can't seem to find anything without profanity every other word. They also increased their max capacity which was already too high, and if you plan to skate at this skating rink, you're better off shoving your $12 in a garbage disposal.
MoreI used to come here as a kid and love it!! Ive had my daughter's birthday party here 4 out of the last 5. The staff is very friendly. We plan on making skating a weekly activity. I can see the great stride they are making for a better skating experience. Anything that needs attention they get to right away. The bathrooms have always been very clean (well over the past few years Ive seen the improvement.) I love the different activities while skating. I really really love that they don't strobe light. (My daughter having a history of seizures this is a trigger) these little attention to details will keep us coming back!!! Thank you guys!!!
