Ken provided a clear picture of life in the Carnton home before, after, and during the battle. This home served as a hospital. The story is heavy and there can be a lot of sadness in walking the grounds and cemetery. Parking is easy to maneuver with plenty of spaces. The combo ticket for all 3 houses is an excellent value.

Our tour guide, Steve, was excellent. He was super knowledgeable about the house, and the history of the area. We were thankful most of the tour was indoors as it was very warm today. Thank you!

We are residents of Nashville and wanted to explore some of the civil war sites that we are blessed to have kept preserved in this area, the Carnton House. Our tour guide, Steve, did an absolutely amazing job! He was so very knowledgeable - sharing so much history of the home and of the battle that occurred at that site.

A very informative and moving tour of the house with Andrea our tour guide especially when you see the rooms with blood stained floors where the field hospital surgeons operated. A must visit when you’re in Franklin if you have an interest in the civil war
