From the we called for a room until the time we checked out it was a very friendly experience. It was the experience we would expect from a Hampton Inn plus the little nuances. Only one thing the mattress and the pillows could have been better. This is our second visit here and we will be back.

We checked in rather late so were unable to use a lot of amenities. However, the night clerk was friendly. The staff in the breakfast room were very nice. There were cheese omelets! However, the day front desk clerk was wearing an earbud in one ear and seemed to be put out to check us out. I went to hand her my key and she refused so I just dropped it on her counter. If you do not have customer service skills then perhaps you should reconsider being a front desk clerk? She was the only mar at this stay. The room was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, usable nightstands, a full sized desk with many drawers, a comfy couch, and bar area. The only issue with the bar area was there were no towels near that sink. The room was mostly clean.

Hampton Inn was older property, but the staff was friendly. However, be forewarned, the phone number at the official Hilton website is a 3rd party reservation service. You will not get any Hilton points for your stay. Get your points and call Hampton Inn at 1-800-774-1500 and do NOT use the phone number listed. Sneaky and underhanded for Hilton.

Older property, not as high standards as our experience with other Hilton properties. It’s night and day from the Hampton Inn in Chattanooga. This stay was more like a 2 star hotel. Breakfast was horrific. Staff were just going through the motions, they didn’t seem to know anything or really care. Disappointing stay

This is a typical Hampton Inn- a bit worn but just fine. The room was clean- though there are always a few stray hairs on the bathroom floor. The mop doesn’t get it all. The hotel must allow pets- a big dog was checking in right before us- always makes me wonder if the “pet rooms” are set aside. Room was quiet even though the hotel is near the interstate. Breakfast was fine- the usual waffles, toast, muffin, bananas, apples, small yogurts, a chafing dish of hot potatoes, and one with some type of sausages. Also a warming chafing dish of the premade “omelets”. There was also oatmeal, and a juice machine. The only negatives were the faucet in our room felt like it could break. And the beds were super noisy! I think the mattress was fine- but the bed frames were creaking! But these issues were specific to our room. Oh- we stayed here just a few days after that terrible ice/snow storm. We talked to one gal who was a “fill in worker”. She had been there every day since the storm because other people weren’t able to come in. We thanked her for being there! The sidewalks were not shoveled and the parking lot was also completely snow/ice covered. Both were very slippery. We are hardy midwestern folk, so we knew to do the “shuffle” when walking on ice!
