Randy was an energetic and engaging tour guide who impressed the heaviness of the battle in the eyes of the Carter family. It is worth the price to tour inside the house, especially when paying for all 3 houses on a package ticket. Parking can be confusing and tight especially with construction of new visitors center. I found it helpful to park across the street at Fainting Goat in huge parking lot & upper patio to enjoy your coffee and clear view of Carter property

Our tour guide Christian was fantastic. He was very personable and knew the history well. We do love the history in the south and try to hit these places wherever we go.

This was a great learning experience! Our tour guide Jeff was so knowledgeable and really helped bring the entire experience of what happened to light. It was incredible to see holes in the walls where bullets came through during this battle and stand in the cellular where the Carter family and neighbors hid during the ordeal. It brought a new mindset to how the Civil War effected all Americans during this time. I definitely recommend this.

Glad we went to the house and learned a lot more about the American Civil War.It was so hot but a good tour and a knowledgeable guide, just wished we could have gone up and seen the bedrooms.
