tripadvisorWe hiked Stephen’s Way trail in Heritage Park. A great 1.8 mile hike- I would say parts were moderately rugged with a few steepclimbs and rocks to maneuver. The trail is behind the ballfields through dense woods and is a dirt trail. There is a sign to enter up on a hill but you can also enter by walking around the back of the ball field.
MoreGreat trails not too busy, the views are peaceful and beautiful. The place is well maintained and also has a dog Park
MoreThis is a great park for all ages and interests. I have been there many times. There is a nice playground and sand box, with tons of toys for the kids. There are walking trails and a special dog garden. Along the trails are workout stations. Restrooms are provided while the park is open and a picnic pavilion is available to use for events. Many benches are placed strategically to sit on if you get tired. There are open grassy areas to run, play games, or do whatever in. For the photographer, are many locations to take family photos and opportunities for nature shots. Unfortunately there are some farm animals and a convenience center next door which can make for some unpleasant odors in the heat of summer.
MoreLooked like a fun park for little ones but my husband and I went there to hike. They have a great area to walk behind the park. So fun and unexpected!
MoreGreat Park! Good for kids and picnics. Also, a lot of space for exercising. Restrooms and a vending machine are provided. There's even a performance stage.
