The lake wood theatre is the most awesome place to go to to see plays. Alice in wonderland and Pygmalion that is playing now is a 5 star play.

Absolutely love this magical , intimate theater ! We saw three productions there last year . Boomtown the Musical , Alice in Wonderland both with a multi generational cast as well as the adult cast Breakfast at Tiffany’s . Wow they were all amazing ! From the affordable ticket prices as well as reasonable concessions we were able to enjoy live theater and a night out for our family at a comparable investment to Movie night . The costumes , sets and quality of productions were professional in every way . The arts are alive and well in Old Hickory and growing for our next generation thanks to the dedicated folks at Lakewood Theater !

I was completely Wowed by a recent adaptation of a Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol, that I attended at Lakewood Theatre Company on the show's opening night! The whole experience was so quaint. The theatre is nestled in the heart of Old Hickory, TN. The actors were superb,and the intimate theatre, complete with concessions offered a very inviting experience. I will definitely come back for more performances. I highly recommend this little gem for a very affordable theatre experience!

I thoroughly enjoyed Lakewood Theatre's presentation of Breakfast at Tiffany's. I was surprised to witness a large production on a small and intimate stage.

OKAY FOLKS!!!......Yes it's in Capital Letters for a reason and effect! It's THEATRE!! That's right, the Little quaint intimate theatre that seats about 60 people (5 stage right and 4 stage left with 6 rows). These seats are stepped up so you can see at every level.The production I saw The Little Princess was well done. Young people who are genuinely interested in the arts! The cast did an excellent job. A true Community EVENT.Bring extra $ for donations and the snack bar which has some really nice goodies and freshly popped pop corn. Be aware the bathroom is small and just a single...so there maybe a line.2018 season is about to start so get out there folks, support this little theatre with a BIG heart and check out the picture with the dates and upcoming productions!AND RIGHT A REVIEW!ENJOY!
