We are board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons, the only dental specialty that completes a hospital-based, multi-year residency program after dental school. We specialize in oral surgery procedures and are experts in the field. Nashville Oral Surgery was founded by Harry R. (Joe) Mack, D.D.S., M.D., in 1988. Dr. Ryan F. Thomas, the valedictorian of his dental school class, joined the practice in 2015. We have a Nashville location and a new Brentwood-Franklin-Cool Springs Location. In addition to years of training in general anesthesia and I.V. sedation, we have extensive experience in a wide range of oral surgery procedures including the removal of impacted wisdom teeth and placement of dental implants.
