tripadvisorTook our 5 year old grandson here and he did not want to leave. We spent 3.5 hours here and felt it was money well spent! He loved the treehouse outside and I enjoyed all the artwork!
MoreDon't let the school buses in the parking lot scare you off! We visited on a weekday morning and found that the museum had plenty of space for both the field trips and our family to enjoy the exhibits comfortably. The outdoor upstairs area is a fantastic feature. There is a parking lot but you have to pay, so if you have already paid for parking nearby, just walk over. Great value for the money—we'd get a membership if we lived closer!
MoreI hadn’t been since I was a kid, but my autistic partner wanted to go for their birthday. It’s geared towards kids, but we had a good time. The admission fee was affordable, which if you have an ebt card you can go for free. We probably stayed about 2.5 hours. We took our time walking through and did some activities. There is indoor and outdoor components of the museum. Our favorite part was the space and stem area.
MoreWe were recommended this place by one of the workers at the hotel we were staying at and this place lived up to everything we had been told about it. Our 5 year old absolutely loved this place so much to see and do. Every exhibit space had so much to do. Even with a ton of people there on aSaturday it never felt overly crowded and there were no long waits to do anything. Art, science, creative experiences, climbing, music it really has it all.
MoreA safe, exciting, hands on, and educational place!! Primarily for kids under 13 but all ages can find fun things to do here.
