I have been to about 4 renditions of this show over the last six years. The vocal talent has improved every year. The composition of the musicians has varied also, latest centering around guitars, drums & keyboard. The sound system has been upgraded over time as well but the vocal talent is run over by the music from time to time during the performance. Great trip down memory lane for most of us.

We go every year to the Ultimate Oldies show. It is always fresh and new, and we totally enjoy it. We always buy the tickets to every performance as soon as they become available so we can get an afternoon show on a Saturday or Sunday.

I have only been to a couple of plays but was surprised by how well they were done. From props to direction and especially the talent, the experience was pure enjoyment.

To be honest, I never really liked going to plays and such but after seeing a few kids musicals I've changed my tune.....no pun intended. I've volunteered as well. It is a community theater so much of the community donates its time to make it great, I've gotten my family involved in it now and they are loving it. You can become a member ($5 for individuals and $10 for the whole family a year) and that gives you voting rights at the meetings when they are making decisions on coming shows. I've been able to make new friends in a town where I knew few people. It's been a very rewarding experience. The tickets average $15 per show (there are some discounts) but you can also purchase the Pick Ten Flex Pass for $110 ($100 if you have a promo code as a subscriber of The Manchester Times) making your tickets only $10 or $11 per show. When you buy the pass you can use as many tickets at once as you want. They send you a coupon code to use when you buy show specific tickets. If you need 4 tickets to see To Kill A Mockingbird then you pick your seats, enter the coupon code 4 times, and your total should be $0. It is by no means a professional theater but these folks do an amazing job with what they have. Give it a try.
