tripadvisorSo much to choose from. I took my 10 year-old grandson. We came home with absolutely gorgeous plants. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. I need to go back soon!
MoreEeek! Where do I start?? A lot of dead plants… that are way over priced. If 20% off still means $40.00 for a geranium… you might have a problem. Get the dead plants out of the general assortment and retrain your employees how to SMILE !!! …and at least say hello. One big guy that passed me looked absolutely scary. No smile. No eye contact. No greeting. I thought Holcomb’s had relocated. Fix it..!!
MoreAll employees were ready to help and stopped what they were doing to show me where plants were. They were generous with their time and information!I had a similar experience when I called to ask if they had a certain plant. The staff person offered to go look for the specific plant and returned to tell me how plants remained and reassured me that helping customers was the most important part of her job!
MoreThe Barn Nursey has beautiful plants and flowers, but the prices are so expensive. I was looking for some Vinca and they were 5.99 single cup, I would not pay that price too expensive.
MoreThey always seem to have what most nurseries do not. I wish someone would give them some competition. I would have given them 5 stars but they are out of control with their pricing. This place is all about money. Too bad. There’s some good nurseries in McMinville, but they are about 1.5 hrs out of Chattanooga, and The Barn knows that. Hence the high prices. A cashier once confirmed that fact while I was checking out. This is an excellent nursery outside of their ridiculous pricing. I no longer go there unless I need a particular species nobody else has. The main reason this place has stock is because few are willing to pay their high prices.
