tripadvisorFantastic massage! I've been on a travel assignment and working insane hours. The lack of sleep and driving back and forth had me stressed and my back aching. I had a day off in between shifts and decided to book a deep tissue massage. My therapist, Donya, was wonderful. My hour long deep tissue massage was so relaxing and stress relieving. She was extremely professional and focused on all my areas that were causing me the most pain. I've booked 2 additional appointments! The location is easy to find and very welcoming inside. The treatment rooms were all very calming and quiet so you could truly relax during your appointment. They also sell lots of my favorite hair products that are difficult to find around my hometown.
MoreMy wife got me a massage there before we had to sit through one of those time share presentation. I totally appreciated that, it was very relaxing. Kelly the masseuse was amazing. She had Man Hands!! It was great.
MoreI just had the best massage from their massage therapist, Linda. It was a 90 minute hot stone massage it started with some lymphatic drainage work. Every time I would stop focusing on my body, Linda knew it and would focus me back on relaxing. She was absolutely amazing and I will go back again and again.
MoreMy husband and I were staying at Big Cypress for our Anniversary weekend. We picked this hotel due to the spa. My husband treats me to a massage and facial for our Anniversary instead of a gift. I scheduled a 1 hour massage and and 1 hour facial over a month in advance. I was sent the confirmation and sent that also. When I arrived I was greeted by a nice young lady. She was cheerful and I given the usual paperwork. I was filling it out and the super nice young lady that works the desk comes to tell me there has been a mix up. I was scheduled with a person that no longer works there and so my massage could not happen. I was ask did I even want to continue with the facial, I said yes bc I didn’t want my entire day to be a waste, that being said let me review that before I continue. Bc it was not the young lady’s fault or the lady that did my facial they were both great.. Mrs. Joyce did my facial and she was absolutely amazing. Kind, soft spoken, so sweet. Her hands slid like butter across my skin. She was so general and calming. I hate giving a bad review about management bc I do not want to hurt her chances for business. She is that good at her job!! I guarantee she is one of the reasons they continue to have business. I would go back just to get another facial from her bc it was very enjoyable. She is what you call a diamond in the rough in this place. Ot is was just a review on these 2 ladies it would be hands down 5 stars. Now on to management. If a person is sent to another location or left the location you would think management would look at their schedules and make things right. I mean that persons scheduled should have been cleared. Nope they waited until I had arrived. Told me I would receive a discounted facial. I ask about rescheduling or maybe a nail appointment instead. The told me they were booked. All this came from the sweet girl working the deck (via the manager). Now I don’t know if the manager is not in house (yes I know I should have ask) or if the manager just did want to (man or woman) up over the mistake, but sending the nice lady to tell me was ridiculous. That should not be their job. To make matters worse the so called manager said she remembered me making the appointments over a month ago bc she made the appointments. Still no face to face. I only saw one other lady the whole time I was there. When I went to check out I ask to be put on a list so if there were any cancellations i could be notified. Bc the next massage appointment was at 4 Sunday which didn’t help me since we have to be out by 11. And no nail appointments were available today or tomorrow at all. When I left all room doors were open and empty. They gave me 20% discount so the facial cost me $68. I never saw any other employees or the “manager”. This all being said the place was clean and peaceful. But they better do something about their so called management. Bc when You arrive at a place like this, inside of a hotel like this you expect better. The prices are on the high side just looking at them, but the quality was great on the service I received. I will review the hotel later in a different post. But be fore warned. It is overpriced for what you get also. We are from the Bootheel of Missouri. We have to travel to places like this to get the quality we want in a vacay weekend. I will have to say we will be heading back north where we usually go from now on. Memphis did NOT impress!!
MoreCelebrating Father's Day month for a great dad, my husband and I had individual deep tissue massages at the Park Place location with Ashley & Kierra. While Covid19 adjustments lessened our time from 90 minutes to 60 minutes, both Ashley and Kierra were great! Ashley was really professional and I'm still feeling the effects of the massage 3 days later. Kierra was exceptional in her methods and my husband was very pleased and plans to request her for his next visit. Thanks Gould for making our weekend a great one!
