We celebrated a birthday brunch on Rabbit Island at Roosevelt Lake. Our pilot Rob was lots of fun. We have all lived here many years, and he gave us new information and history on everything below as we were flying over. We landed on the island and were greeted with a glass of wine by James from Rune Winery (excellent AZ wine), along with Pavle and Charleen from FnB Restaurant. It was a fun group of people. The food was farm to table and absolutely delicious. This is the perfect way to spend a Sunday in AZ.

fab... Fab.... FABULOUS!!! GREAT time!! Absolutely AMAZING! BEST TRIP EVER :) Pilot Rob was excellent & extremely knowledgeable about AZ history... it was interesting & so FUN! Loved the SPLASH landing at Roosevelt Lake... very beautiful and serene! The trip was a surprise for my friend that was enjoyed immensely!

Out adventuret went very well! It was a beautiful, clear day and the pilot was very nice. I would love to have been able to water ski behind the float plane! ☺ The whole experience from booking to the actual flight was easy and stress-free. We would definitely recommend it to our friends!

Truly a one of a kind adventure for everyone. In just 90 minutes, you see all of the Apache trail, ancient ruins, and even caves. Rob, the pilot and guide, was able to stun the whole group (all who lived in Arizona) with facts about Arizona we didn't even know about. You can tell he truly loves what he does and makes the experience even more enjoyable by being personable, friendly, and accommodating to all passengers. Go on a sunny day and a little warmer weather (or bring a jacket), as it is a little cool landing on the water and hanging out on the island.

My childhood friend and I were looking for a unique way for us to celebrate our special birthdays together with our husbands. We are both long time residents of Arizona so there is not much we haven't done. Desert Splash lunch with FNB and Arizona Wines was something that was really special and had that Wow factor that we were looking for. First, a fabulous air tour of the Salt River and the lakes between Fountain Hills and Lake Roosevelt. Landing on Roosevelt Lake in a seaplane was really fun. Once we landed on the island, we were welcomed with a glass of rose. The food was catered by FNB. The wines were from Dos Cabezos winery in Southern Arizona. The food and wine were delicious. The cheese selection was scrumptious and unfortunately, I was too full to try all of the baked goods. The salad was filled with seasonal ingredients such as pomegranates and persimmion in a light vinegarette dressing. The vegetables were great. I was too full for the sausages and hardboiled eggs . My favorite was the salmon. After lunch, we flew back over the Superstition Mountains and got a great view of Weaver's Needle. Each way, the pilot provided us a narrative of what we were seeing and the history of the area. It was really great. I would recommend this trip to anybody looking for something really different.
