Great show last night. Doobie Brothers were outstanding! 2 805's, 2 mixed drinks, 2 bags of popcorn, $101.00. TOTAL RIP!

We all really enjoyed the straight forward talk and humor of Bill Maher regarding the world's current state of affairs !! Not only the humor from Bill Maher, but his perspective on various govt. officials and us as individuals as to how we are all handling different situations. We loved it and Comerica is a good venue.

This place is BIG, and the view is good from all seats. The sound system and acoustics, however, are terrible. Recently attended a concert there and it was like listening to a cheap radio. Probably won't go back there again.

This is one of my least favorite venues in the Valley. It is not really a theater. There is nothing artistic or imaginative about the design. It is basically a collection of seats, not much above bleacher quality. The name of the venue keeps changing. it is poorly labelled and marketed. It is hard for even the ushers to find people's seats (and upstairs, some areas are so poorly lit, no one can see the row/seat numbers). It is always a hassle getting into the venue (last minute door openings, long lines, varying rules for each performance about what you can/cannot bring in, parking issues, horrible concessions, etc.). But, they do have some good acts performing there (especially comedians), and with the small numbers of venues available in Phoenix, it is sometimes worth the hassle.

Went to see a comedy show for New Year’s Eve. Husband wanted a bottle of water since you couldn’t bring them through security. (PS Ladies, please don’t bring the biggest purse you own when you go to events with security. Small purse or clear bag works better and doesn’t slow down the whole line.) A bottle of water was $6! Ridiculous. $3 or 4 maybe but $6? Beers were $14, considerably more than sporting events. We didn’t buy anything, so I think their pricing is self defeating. Venue was good and sound system was fine. Seating was comfortable.
