A very nice, welcoming beach, especially on the Independence Day, with so many people lying on their tents, swimming buildings, sandcastles and the Sun going down and bringing up the fireworks, the pier looked beautiful and they were so nice vibrations all around it was a fun place to watch. Life coming to a full circle. However, parking is difficult and you really have to spend time finding one. It's a paid parking, also very few joints for food and drinks. So you have to bring your own drinks with you. A clean and fun beach to walk on

This is a must-see. I am so glad that we took the time to drive here. It was located near our accommodation. We drove all the way to the end and around, looked at the boats, and then parked in front of where the seals were sunning themselves. It was a great experience. We then walked to the beach and took pictures as the sun was going down. We found a lovely, fresh fish store that we return to the next day twice. The owner, Gunner, was a wonderful gentleman who is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed interacting with him.

Beautiful place. First time visiting to see the sunset. Loved it. Beautiful atmosphere and will definitely return. Must try the restaurants next time.

For those who have impaired mobility, beach wheelchairs (Rolleze wheels) can be checked out from the lifeguard headquarters at Parking Lot 11 (next to the boat ramps). There is no charge. And from that location to the waterline is quite flat (no dunes). Call 760-435-4018 to reserve one. You can park your street-wheels wheelchair or scooter in their locked shed until you bring it back.

This is the place to watch the most perfect Sunset! Sandy with a sidewalk! Bring your chair & blanket, your kiddy buckets & shovels! So fun! And the sand glitters with gold!
