tripadvisorI've visited the Batavia Fine Arts Centre twice now. This venue is a theater set in a modern, well appointed high school in Batavia with great parking. They feature live performances, including some celebrities. I can tell you that tickets are always affordable, there's really not a bad seat in the house, and attractions are usually very family-friendly. My first trip -- probably 2 years ago -- was to see a violin quartet that had appeared on one of those TV Talent Shows. They were called, Well Strung, and were an all-male quartet that featured classical and pop songs. It was a great concert. This past weekend I took my son to see an interactive art/music show called Artrageous, where art was created quickly on stage while other performers sung and danced. It was entertaining for sure. Batavia is west of Chicago, but quite a bit. So for those of you who are in the western suburbs -- like Naperville, Aurora, or Oswego, this is much closer than going downtown. And given that I paid $40 for my 2 tickets to Artrageous, it's much cheaper as well.
