What a welcoming, fun visit! My wife and I spent the night at the Brownwood Hotel and explored the area a bit. Live entertainment, great restaurants and frienfly people made for a perfect evening for us!

The square offers free live music every night (weather permitting) with seating in a grandstand area and in folding chairs as well. Residents tend to bring their own chairs or relax in their golf carts in available parking around the square. There's plenty of parking a short walk away, but be prepared when more popular bands are performing to come early. Entertainment runs from 5 to 9 so there's a good bit of coming and going and it's usually possible to find a good seat even if you arrive later. There are several restaurants around the square--many of which provide live music as well. And there are bar huts in the square offering wine, beer, soft drinks and mixed drinks as well. Early birds can take advantage of two for one drinks at happy hour (5-6) for most (not all) drinks and they have some bags of chips and popcorn. The vibe is relaxed and friendly with couples and family groups enjoying the entertainment. Volunteers help with crowd control, finding seats, and generally being on hand if help is needed. It's just a nice time out with friends and/or family and we've never been disappointed.
