A fantastic park with a beautiful visitors center that is tucked into the Pine Barrens. Nice trails and they offer informative classes on a number of subjects. My wife Linda and I went to a class on the History of Environmentalism in the US and found it to be informative and fascinating. The naturalist Jenna that gave the class was highly knowledgeable and was easily able to answer all of our questions.

Often hiked the trails at Jake’s Branch park but this was the first time inside the visitor center. Definitely worth a visit. Lots of exhibits and displays giving you information about the Pine barrens, local flora, and Fauna. Smokey the bear. If you’re lucky enough to be there when they are providing an lecture that will be an added bonus

Good place for enjoying the nature and beautiful views. They have pleasant biking trail and easy hiking trails. A playground and picnic area make it a family friendly destination. Great nature center.

Very nice area for walking. Hard-packed sand trails with a fair amount of shade.I saw on one website and can concur... lots of ticks!!

Interesting nature museum inside the observation tower ! Can walk up to the top & view the entire park ! Safe, clean trails for biking, hiking or walking. Trained professionals in the nature museum to answer any questions. Wonderful place to shield yourself from the sun on a hot day !
