Loudest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Between the planes taking off and the highway right beside the window, the walls are so thin it sounds like it’s in your room. There’s even a paper stating they know it’s loud and offer ear plugs and sound machines. I understand by the airport can be noisy here and there but this is constant and louder at night than during the day!

These people are scammers. I booked two rooms, but when I arrived, they told me I had only booked one—yet they charged me for two. I asked for a refund, and they told me they would handle it later. Two months later, they claimed I had never actually checked in, just so they wouldn't have to refund my money. They are scammers; do not go to this hotel.

Chamisha W made my experience at this hotel fantastic. From the time I walked through the door I was greeted with a smile very welcoming. This was my first time visiting Kentucky came for my son’s football game she gave my a list of nearby restaurants and attractions my check in was a breeze Thank you!!

recently stayed at the Residence Inn Louisville airport. In fact, over the years I have stayed at this hotel at least 25 times and I have never been disappointed. The hotel is not new, but management and housekeeping does a excellent job of maintaining the property. While the hotel is near the airport and a freeway, I have never heard any outside noise. But, as a nice touch, housekeeping places a pair of earplugs in the room just in case a guest may need them. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. In addition, if something is not right staff will take care of any issues. For example, I only sleep on feather pillows and upon request, housekeeping promptly replaced the pillows. On another occasion the air conditioner system froze up and water leaked on the floor. I was quickly moved to another room and was awarded 10,000 Marriott points, ever without requesting. The rooms are fully equipped with a large refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave, plates, glasses, and utensils, and a kitchen table. There is also free parking available making this a great hotel for someone staying several days or for a large family.Some special feature of this hotel include a hot and cold breakfast each morning, and on Wednesday they even provide a free dinner along with water, soft drinks, wine, and beer. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, and a fully equipped exercise room. However, most impressive about this hotel is the staff. They are all very friendly, efficient, and always willing to answer any questions. Being a Marriott Lifetime Titanium elite member, I stay in a lot of hotels and I can say with certainty there are two things that makes this hotel unique. The General Manager is frequently in the lobby engaging with guest and making sure everything is up to their expectations, and the last time I stayed in this hotel prior to arriving I received a personal email from Tamela Shoop, the front desk supervisor thanking me for returning the hotel and asking if I had any special requests. The Residence Inn is in an area along with 10-15 other hotels, and over the years I have stayed in many of them, but I think this is the best hotel, and I will certainly continue to stay at the Residence Inn when I am in Louisville..
