Pool was clean. Water pressure was poor. Bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, which lead to a lot of humidity in the room.

I had an excellent experience at the Courtyard on Blairwood Road. Christine at the front desk was very nice and di everything in her power to accommodate our group. The room was clean, the hot water was hot, the TV had all the channels we wanted, the pool and exercise room were very nice. Did we have issues, yes. The room was not what we expected ( we thought we were getting a double room with a let out couch) but Christine assisted by bringing a roll-away bed and extra towels, sheets and blankets. I would definitely stay here again.

I’m a Titanium Elite member, just three stays away from Ambassador, and this was the worst experience I’ve had with Marriott. I booked my room a week in advance at the Courtyard by Marriott Louisville. While I was driving 4½ hours, I got a casual call from an unknown number — the caller spoke minimal English and said the hotel was “overbooked” and needed a new credit card. I feared it was fraud, and sure enough, my bank flagged it.Instead of verifying or trying again, the hotel canceled my reservation. When I arrived, every hotel in the area was sold out, and Marriott offered zero help — no relocation, no care, no recognition of loyalty. I sat in the parking lot for over an hour and a half, calling around just to find a bed.I spend nearly one-third of my year in Marriott hotels, yet this experience made it clear: status means nothing when you need support. So much for loyalty.

Hotel was just ok. Rooms will need to be updated soon. Was glad there was a Bistro for my morning breakfast. However when I went to order the staff discouraged me to order something that would take a little time to prepare. They only wanted to serve quick pick up and take (premade coffee cake, scone, etc). They shouldn’t offer hot breakfast items if they don’t want to prepare them. Should have went next door for a hot breakfast.
