I had an extremely disappointing stay at Residence Inn Louisville East. The overall condition of this property is unacceptable for a Marriott branded hotel. The buildings appear to be in serious disrepair, with deteriorating exteriors and even steps that are falling apart. The property is neglected and poorly maintained. The most concerning issue was seeing ants and roaches in the breakfast area. That is simply unacceptable in any hotel, especially where food is served. To make matters worse, there was no breakfast one morning because the breakfast attendant didn't show up. The front desk associate was apologetic and told guests their couldn't reach their managers because their calls weren't being answered. I felt bad for the employee, who seemed to be doing their best without any support. From my experience, there appears to be a serious lack of leadership at this property. Problems seem to be ignored instead of addressed, and the condition of the hotel reflects that. My concerns have been brought to the attention of the health department, city building inspectors and Marriott. This hotel is in desperate need of an investigation, repairs, and accountable management.I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made!!!!

This is simply not up to Marriott standards. Falling apart inside and out. Mildewed shower curtain. Ceiling caved in and repaired with cardboard which also caved in. Kitchen not supplied well. Leaking front door. Puddle inside the room from rain. Just atrocious.

Just not great. I was traveling with my young child and all the rooms are outside doors. The room set up is terrible with the bed facing the door. The wood work was ragged and our carpet was ripped.

Residence Inn provided everything we needed from the hospitality when we arrived to satisfying breakfast the morning we left. Check-in was easy. There is a $10 a day parking fee. There are 12 different buildings with two levels; no elevators & outside entrances. This setup made for the most peaceful night of sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The beds are firm which is to my liking. The rooms are spacious with a separate vanity area from the shower and toilet area. The kitchenettes would be perfect for a week-long stay. Breakfast was your typical Marriott complimentary breakfast; it did have extras such as oatmeal/yogurt toppings and salsa, peanut butter, etc. The shower had great pressure. There are also plenty of dining options in the area. No complaints here and I would recommend this Residence Inn to a freiend.

This was our first time at this hotel. A short drive from the interstate and in an area with shopping and quality restaurants. The apartment type rooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Beds were comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The pool was closed for the season, but looked nice. Breakfast was a good variety and flavorful. I can't say enough about the staff, very helpful and friendly. Did whatever they could to make our stay comfortable.
