We had a wonderful tour of Hallaway feeds! Their efficiency in production from this one small plant is amazing. The marketing director who did the tour was passionate about her work and the company! We also met Mr. Bob the founder , who is 94 and his son who were very inviting and friendly. I wish they had these feeds in western PA , we are loosing out on a great product! All ingredients are locally grown and made in USA. This is a must see if you visit the are!

The whole process is fascinating. Anthony answered all our questions. This company has an interesting history and it was cool to hear how their shift into only horse food came about. It was cool to see all the winners they feed with their products.

A very interesting and well organized tour. I was so impressed with the quality control and attention to detail. I learned that all they do is horse feed and the rigorous focus on horse nutrition, based on science, is what has made this family business a success for many decades. I really had no idea what to expect when I signed up for the tour and came away with a new appreciation of what it takes to produce a quality horse feed. I was very impressed!

Being shown the history of Hallway Feeds, the collection of halters of Triple Crown winners, American Pharaoh and Jstify as well as many photos of Tony Leonard, award winner photographer that were taken of the various racehorses. Being shown the equipment that was used to make the feed and what all goes in to making the feed for the equine athletes.

Hallway Feeds is impressive and obviously has great concern for equine nutrition. Carly gave us a tour that was incredibly informative and interesting. High class operation that we thoroughly enjoyed!
