We were definitely like kids in a candy shop in this place. So many things to choose from and we were able to sample anything we wanted. We wound up purchasing their most popular items which are chocolate covered grapes, and the sea salted chocolate covered potato chips. We actually also purchased a few pecan bourbon balls. The staff was delightful and very helpful. The store was big, bright and roomy. We also were amused by the drive through. We have never seen a chocolate store with a drive through, but now that we know what we like, we hope to return and use this feature.

My husband went to pick up an order that was called in and paid for by my Mom. I heard the entire conversation while he was there…they did not give him the order and claimed there was none. Upon going to the store myself, I was greeted with the same incompetance by people who have worked there for years. I recorded the interaction, and upon telling the person who was helping me that I was recording, she came back with the order, and said she was only trying ro be nice. I replied no, you were not, did not sign off on the order, and left with my things, never to buy from them again. If that is being nice, they need to return to charm school. A shame because they have good chocolates that I have purchased for 20 years. But hey there are other places where I do not get this hassle, who have exceptional product.

Some places just go above and beyond to make your event special. That was Old Kentucky Chocolates. We used their delicious chocolates and gummies to fill our welcome bags. They were responsive, professional, and just a joy to work with.

My brother has been buying us chocolate from here for years. We tried many of their products but by far the best are the cherry cordials. They are a masterpiece of wonderful chocolate with the perfect amount of tangy cherry. They also make excellent Bourbon bonbons which make great gifts. I suppose the cherry cordials would make good gifts too but you should eat them instead! :-)

I stopped for a first time visit at the star shoot location, and it was great, the two girls that were on duty were excellent at customer service, offered samples and explain the candies and even sold me some sugar free that I liked very much. This is a great location for people to stop if for first time, really enjoyed
