The Division of Engineering offers a range of public works infrastructure solutions. The division s design/construction section performs in-house engineering studies and land surveys, as well as provides technical expertise and consultation solutions. It is a part of the Department of Public Works and Development, which is administered by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. The Division of Engineering undertakes construction projects bikeways, sidewalks and sanitary sewer facilities. The division also oversees various private engineering firms. In addition, it is responsible for the inspection of stormwater, wastewater and roadway structures. The Division of Engineering offers access to forms related to development and subdivision plans.
