tripadvisorWhen I moved from England six years ago and Goldenberry moved to town I thought all my Christmases had come at once! We are delighted to have Deb back in town. The knew location (entrance by Vineyard Vines) is unusual in the respect it's first floor offices you turn a corner and Aladdin's Cave is waiting for you. The smaller space is crammed with goodies. Deb has done a fantastic job and I have no doubt that this will become a real destination store!
MoreI am a Brit and love popping in for all my favourite foods. When shopping for Christmas goodies, I was very unhappy to find out on Christmas Day that I had purchased stale mince pies. Just a warning when buying to check the dates on the food!
MoreOn our 15th aniversary, wife and I decided to try a corner of our state neither had visited in 40 years. We made a list of several attractions and Goldenberry, given reviews, was high. No regrets. Wonderful expanse of British Isles food and other European items. Varied assortment of decorations and crafts. We gathered some Irish and English snacks, including some cheese wafers which my wife instantly became addicted to. She wants to drive all the way there just to buy a case of those. We just might do that!
MoreBeen going here for years since they were in Darien. Hard to find items and they are very involved in the community.
MoreThis shop is filled with items from your past while there is still plenty for the present. So many treasures that are sure to be on your gift-giving list or on your list for entertaining. Pricey for some items but reasonable for others. The super-friendly staff/owners show their love for what they do and it shines through. Very accommodating and knowledgeable on recommendations for your needs.
