I love Fusions! This is a wonderful glass studio where you can make all kinds of things from glass. They are located in beautiful downtown Eagle. I started going there with a friend in August. It is so much fun and if you love art and love to create things that are unique this is the place for you. You can go with friends or by yourself. You can create a range of glass art objects from dishes to wall panels, candle holders, sun catchers, and decorative pieces. You can even make beautiful art pictures from glass powders. Which I haven’t tried yet, but I will! The owner, Melissa is very nice and friendly. She has classes you can take to learn how to make all kinds of things using various techniques. Melissa and Mark are always glad to help you and answer any questions. They also have a gift shop area, where you can buy beautiful art pieces made of glass art from local artists. A great place for buying a gift for someone special. I can’t say enough good things about Fusions! I’ve always had a great experience. I’ve met some very talented people there. I’d go there everyday if I could! So if you’re looking for a new creative outlet or just want to learn about fused glass, you need to go to Fusions! I'm a little crafty but knew nothing about glass except that it's beautiful. After walking in to the Fusions studio I noticed all of the amazing platters, plates and wall hangings. I scheduled a class, the beginners class, since I knew next to nothing about creating a finished product. The instructor was incredibly informative, kind and patient with me and others in the class. I learned so much and was so impressed with the plate I made! This shop is so fun to create something that is a one of a kind piece.

I *loved* my experience at Fusions! I’m looking at my little creation right now, amazed that I made something so beautiful with such minimal artistic talent! I enjoyed a tour of their beautiful studios and felt free to wander and enjoy looking at the artistic expressions of those much more skilled than I am, while being gently encouraged to forge ahead as I made my own. They were so kind dealing with this newbie! If you are in the Boise area, and are looking for a unique afternoon experience, I encourage you to check Fusions out. For those new to glass (like me), there are a range of projects that can be completed with minimal time like pendants, nightlights, and other small glassware. And, if you’re visiting from out of town, just make sure that you visit Fusions before the end of your trip so your item can be fused and cooled before pick up. (Maybe a day or two? Their kilns are fascinating, and that kind of heat takes time. :) )

I've been to Fusions numerous times, and it is a beautiful studio. They have several great walk-in projects that I've done with friends and relatives and we always have a fun time creating something unique together. Another really rewarding experience is participating in a guided project which is a class in which the owner guides everyone through the making of a special item. It is fun to see how everyone's project reflects his or her own unique style, and the end result is always something I am proud to own - or give as a gift! I highly recommend at least one session - preferably with a friend - at Fusions. But be careful because you might find it addictive!

Creating art in glass happens to all ability levels in this business. Impressive owner and staff. They Go beyond expectations. Wonderful opportunity to explore your personal creative spirit. If you haven't tried creating in glass, this is an opportunity not to bypass. You will not be disappointed. Explore and Treasure your own creations.
