Location is quite good with easy access from the interstate, large selection of restaurants & shopping. Hotel is clean in the common areas. Our room was clean, furniture practical & clean, bed & linens clean with plenty of nice pillows. The layout of our king bed 2 room suite was nice & functional with residential fridge, two burner stove, full compliment of dishes/cookware/cutlery, and a fairly quiet dishwasher. Our only complaint was the room did not have enough lighting. There wasn’t any lighting or lamps in the living area except the glare off the TV. As this was a business trip, it was noticeable in the evening hours when trying to review paperwork. The kitchen area was clean and the breakfast adequate. The young lady managing the breakfast was quite funny & we enjoyed joking with her each morning.

As we have stayed at this particular Homewood in the past, one of its biggest pluses is the location. Close to excellent dining & shopping, it’s easily accessed from the interstate. The hotel is clean & quiet with a nice dining area & small gym. It has an outdoor pool that is seasonal. Our room, was clean, the beds, pillows, and linen comfortable. However, I could not give this rating a “5” as we have in the past due to an issue with our room. There simply isn’t enough light to read. Our room was a king bed 2 room suite with only one overhead light in the kitchen and suspended light over the dining table. The only light in the living area where the couch is located came from the TV when on. As this was a business trip, it made things quite difficult to read forms written on paper. Computers with background lighting may be the norm…. but on this trip, we were required to review typed evaluations that the lack of adequate lights made difficult. For this reason, we probably will not return for business needs. The bedroom had two lamps on each bedside table & at the vanity. We inquired with the desk staff & were informed that the extra lighting had not been included when the hotel underwent renovations. After reading other reviews complaining about the breakfast provided, we thought it was more than adequate & the young lady handling the kitchen was so witty with a great sense of humor. We did question about not getting free bottles for water for our silver membership…having noted several angry reviews over those said bottles of water. The young man at the desk was friendly, but told us the new policy at a Homewood hotels is not to offer free waters to silver membership…….and he was quite correct when I checked our membership, it just seems odd that some Homewoods and Hamptons still provide the waters….this was our first experience getting turned down, it wasn’t worth arguing with the folks at the desk just trying to do their jobs though & definitely won’t keep us from coming back on family visits….just not business meeting due to the lighting issue.

We are longtime Hilton travelers and the Homewood Suites hotels have become our go-to choices. This property did not disappoint. It was very clean and modern. Our room was spotless. The extra room that you get with a suite is worth it. The staff that we interacted with were very courteous and professional. The property is located near a ton of restaurants, some of which are in walking distance. I highly recommend this property.

One night stay at this nicely remodeled property. Staff friendly and efficient. Room was very nice. LOVED the nightlite in the bathroom. The breakfast however was very underwhelming in every category. Selection, presentation, variety.
