Reviews
tripadvisorLocation, food, staff were terrific. Beverly went above and beyond both over the phone when we called with questions and when she greeted us at check in. She was absolutely a dream! She exemplified true professionalism and was always willing to assist with anything we needed. JC, on the other hand, was very condescending and argumentative each time we spoke to him. Over the phone, he was unwilling to assist us with online check in and advised us to contact Beverly the following morning. He treated us as though we were putting him out when we asked for help. Then, he wanted to argue with us. His behavior was unacceptable & we do not wish to deal with him during future visits. The rooms were nice. The hotel was clean. The breakfast area was very nice and offered a terrific breakfast menu very nicely priced with terrific food. We were close to everything & it was fabulous not to have to walk forever to get anywhere. We will be staying again.
More⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service from JC, the Second-Shift Manager!JC is absolutely unbelievable! In all my experiences staying at different hotels, I can honestly say that his level of service, professionalism, and genuine care stands out above the rest. He goes above and beyond in every way imaginable, exceeding expectations and making every guest feel truly valued. What makes JC so special is that he doesn’t just do what’s expected of him—he does so much more. He proactively provides helpful information without even being asked, takes the time to make sure you have everything you need, and always greets you with a warm, friendly smile. From the moment you walk through the door, his positive attitude and welcoming personality make you feel right at home.People like JC are what make a hotel truly exceptional. His dedication, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service are rare qualities that deserve to be recognized and appreciated. He is a tremendous asset to this hotel, and management should be incredibly proud to have someone like him representing their property.JC is the gold standard for hospitality! He doesn’t just meet expectations—he exceeds them in every possible way. Thank you, JC, for making every stay a better experience. You are truly one of a kind!
MoreCheck in was pleasant. I was certain I had reserved a bay view balcony room but I guess I did not and there was none available to upgrade but after staying on a bay view with traffic noise and drunken screaming and police sirens til 2 am, we were glad we didn’t pay extra since it’s already pricey for what it is. We had sugar ants invading $20 macaroons we had an AC that was not cold we had a cherry picker beeping spraying water at the building on a Sunday morning at 8 AM. We had $40 parking taken off for our inconveniences. We will not be back
MoreLocation is fantastic. Front staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. My complaint is the resort fee, it is not a resort and $40 valet parking fee. Self park is not available and the car was not parked nearby for easy access.
MoreThe room was nice, but if you pay attention around, you were able to see little ants all over the room, beginning with bathroom and end up in the room.I remember the last day, I put my luggage on the little chair, and I had to remove fast, because the ants were crawling over my luggage. The breakfast was good.People at the concierge very nice, but at the end we had to call and ask about the bill, because they charged us for wine and liquors, we never used.I was my birthday weekend, so me and my family we tried to have some nice time in St. Augustin and my sister-in-law surprise me to pay the bill. What a nightmare, charge over charge and of course that everyone needs to know what they are charged for, so I called the Corporate Customer Service, who transferred me to the front desk.CJ, looks like he is a manager over there, was very rude. I understand he was busy, but how can you get in touch with someone, if you don't allow to give you their phone number and you just hang up the phone?Shame on you CJ, you don't honor this company as you suppose to.
