Reviews
tripadvisorThis is a good place to stay. Check in and staff were good. The one-king bed room was clean, comfortable, roomy and quiet. You could tell some normal wear-and-tear in the room, but it was not a deal breaker. Parking is in the next building and a short walk. Several different restaurants are a short walk from the hotel.
MoreAsked to switch prepaid stay and was declined at all levels. Congratulations Hilton on earning $ without giving any service.
MoreBusiness traveler. LT Gold at Marriott. LT Silver at Hilton. Hotel is well located. Needs a full PIP. Bathroom tired. Beds squishy, too soft. Loud AC. Room not particulary clean. Internet wasn't working, which was an actual issue. I stayed in room 303. Windows went directly into a gable. No natural light visible. Front desk staff fine but bordering on disinterested. Valet was actually the best service in the hotel. No full breakfast restaurant. Only small cafe w/ yogurts, etc. Don't stay here unless you book late and need to be DT for an early meeting.
MoreThe lobby area is beautiful and the room was nice and large enough. There were no options to buy soda, a snack, etc. The staff were nice but it just seems there is something missing like a shop, bar/restaurant.
MoreStrengths-- Very nice and responsive staff. The Drum Room staff were always INCREDIBLE! Areas for improvement:-Context: Room (Suite) that we we paid about $1000/night (including taxes). -Dated room that felt like a prison cell- dark (limited light); 2 extremely small windows in the entire suite.-Lacquer top furniture in the entrance. So old that we put cold items from the grocery store on it and the moisture got trapped which left white scuff marks. Our fault for leaving the cold items on there, but the furniture was already scratched and looked like it needs replacement.-Bathroom door handle was loose and fell off, but my husband fixed it.-3 nights of the AC rattling all night. Reported this to the front requesting they fix it. They said Engineering went (at least the first night), but no change, nor did they confirm that engineering visited the room. We know this only because we reported the issue the second night. Gave up after that. Nearby hotels were sold out because of the volleyball tournament, but would've considered checking out early. They charged room damage fee of $500 initially and then dropped it to $150:-White scuff-- nit picky, but OK.-Blue scuff along the wall that required to be painted. Don't know where this was and upon asking, they couldn't say exactly.-Gold trim on a bedstand fell off? You decide--- Room rate + problems with the room and the level of damage. Fair? From our experience (and we travel all over the world)-- this is the first time this has happened, but not surprising as Hilton as a brand has been declining.
