First time fly fishing but it won’t be the last. Guys @ East Slope were professional but really laid back & so nice. Taught us the basics & soon we were thigh high in the Gallatin River. We took the introduction 4 hour with Dan, we got outfitted & on our way to a nice fishing hole. Water was a chilly 48 degrees with moderate current so bring wool socks. Amazing time, thanks so much!

This place is great! Easy to access and park. Fitted our tow boys for first time skiing. Later rented snowshoes from them. Friendly, helpful - gave tips on where to snowshoe. Definitely would rent again from them.

Very friendly staff that work here and a great selection of t-shirts and winter wear. They also sell great souvenir Christmas ornaments made from discarded Christmas trees and antler horns.

Went to upper Madison with guide John Sniscak thru East Slope Outdoors and had a fantastic time! Dave Alvin the owner was very helpful and greeted us. Shop personnel were professional and friendly. Very helpful for first timers. John our guide was patient and extremely knowledgeable of the river and different techniques for catching based on conditions. Caught several rainbows, browns and white fish.

We’ve had an opportunity to watch this local business grow from a small rental shop to a beautiful store, keeping up with great service, a personable approach, and very fair prices throughout the years. Whatever our needs for a good time are, we trust them with equipment rental, outfit purchases, and any outdoor advice we may need. Doesn’t matter what level skier, fisherman, or adventure seeker you are, you will be treated patiently and fairly. The store is located in the Big Sky Town Center, right on the way in from Bozeman to Big Sky resort.
