Ticket purchase was misleading but still had a good time! Tickets were only $10 but there is a hidden cost- 2 drink purchase minimum per person-that have a 20% gratuity.Typical dive basement comedy club that was cozy. Show was 90min with several comedians- some were good, some were fair.

You get a good show here. No question about that. Some folks are funnier than others, some are figuring it out. There are enough comics on the line up you’ll definitely enjoy the time. It’s also not super expensive or hard to get in (so you can decide on a whim and not wait in a crazy line). I’d recommend it.

This place is a hidden gem. Greenwich Village Comedy Club has that classic downtown New York comedy feel -- intimate room, low ceilings, and comics close enough that you can see them sweat. That's how comedy is supposed to be. The shows I've been to have been consistently strong. Great variety in the lineups, solid hosting, and the kind of laughs where your face hurts the next day. The location is perfect for a date night or a night out with friends -- plenty of good restaurants nearby to make a whole evening of it. Honestly surprised this place doesn't get more buzz because the quality of comedy here rivals clubs charging twice the price. If you want to feel like you discovered something special, go.

I went with my adult son, and it was great sharing so many laughs with him and so the rest of the audience. We live in North Carolina, but I’ll definitely go back there next time I’m in NYC.!

Fun 9:45 pm show yesterday, Friday night, although the talent ranged from struggling to be funny and in the flow to very good ( Iranian comedian and last comedian). Mcee (female) was mediocre at best — way too many non-funny comments about her sex life when she felt like she needed to insert something to keep the rhythm going. I’d suggest she watch a bunch of YouTube videos and work on her routine, or replace her with somebody that actually is funny and can read the room better. Cozy (really small) venue with friendly service. I thought the price was reasonable for the area. If you check reviews, I think some of the nearby comedy clubs get much higher ratings generally.
