On the positive side, the hotel is renovated and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was also relatively quiet and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, there was hair all over the shower and bathroom floor, and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned. Additionally, the layout is quirky, with the hotel sitting on top of an above-ground parking garage. The lobby entrance is on the top floor of the parking garage. When it snows, they close the top portion of the garage, forcing you to park on the lower levels. During a recent stay, only one elevator was working, resulting in a 15+ minute wait each time I needed to use the elevator. Overall, not a bad experience and worth it for a quick stay.

My husband and I, along with three friends, stayed at the Hampton Inn Massillon while on a bike trip on the Ohio to Erie Trail. While Massillon is rather old and not very cute, the Hampton Inn was a very modern, nicely decorated hotel with great service. Patricia at the front desk was very accommodating and let us check in early. She also provided spot-on recommendations for dinner. Breakfast at the Hampton Inn is just okay, nothing special, but the rooms are very nice and immaculate. I would stay here again.

During our almost one week stay we had to switch rooms not because anything was wrong but because we had to switch over to a handicap room for my father. Cuz my reservations originally did not have one. Miss Patricia was so helpful and helping us out and keeping housekeeping informed that we will be transferring over to another room. And even when just a little maintenance issue was wrong with the new room she got it taken care of with maintenance. Pretty darn quickly. Very impressed and I've always been impressed with this property over the years and so glad that they have gotten it. Remodeled that's very impressive.

Very convenient location to many places to eat/shop. Very friendly staff. Room was in good condition, free parking. I was worried that it would be a bit sketchy, as we were driving there, but it is a very nice hotel. My only complaint which is minor, I didn't like the breakfast food selection, but that is a pretty minor point.

I had the heartbreaking experience of having to cancel our upcoming visit (for a VERY important family member). I also had the pleasure of speaking with Adam. We had to cancel our trip due to hurricane Milton. We live in Flordia, and my husband is part of the emergency management team, so his vacation was canceled. Today, I called and spoke with Adam he was very efficient and canceled the reservation without any problems.
