Central Catholic High School is located on a more than 65-acre campus, educating students with a college preparatory curriculum. The academic offerings are enhanced through a competitive athletic program, music program including band and choir, drama department, and campus ministry programs. Central Catholic was formed in 1946 when the Diocese of Youngstown merged Mount Marie Academy and St. John High School. Central Catholic is owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, and enrolls both Catholic and non-Catholic students. The school also offers various sports programs, such as cross-country, football, golf, soccer, basketball, bowling, hockey, wrestling, baseball and track.
