Reviews
tripadvisorStayed at this hotel during the NFL HOF season. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in good condition. We had a comfortabel room, which was very quiet despite the hotel being at capacity. The thing that set the hotel apart, in my opinion, was the staff. Front desk staff, particularly Angie, were some of the nicest and most welcoming staff I have ever seen at a hotel. They were genuine and went out of their way to help.
MoreWe chose this hotel because it had an airport shuttle. We called the hotel for pick up when we got our luggage and it took about 15 minutes waiting time but the hotel is a five + minute drive from the airport. That was understandable. When we got near the hotel, the driver took us a back way through narrow dark alleys, which did not at all give a favorable impression of the Hotel. During the ride or when we checked in at the front desk, no one mentioned to us that you need to give a 24 hour notice to have the shuttle the next morning take us back to the airport. Of course a 24 hour notice is impossible because you’re not even at the hotel for 24 hours. So when we were checking out the next morning, we said we’re ready for the shuttle, and so there was no shuttle driver available even though the shuttle was parked outside the front door. The front desk person called the shuttle driver, but there was no answer and so we finally called an Uber to take us to the airport. The Uber took us out the front entrance on nice black top roads. Bed and the room were excellent.
MoreI have stayed here numerous times and saw an improved experience that was worth me writing another review to increase their rating.Front desk staff had new personnel that were very helpful during the check-in. Great personality and seemed to care about what they were doing. Huge improvement in that area.Rooms were cleaner than the last two times I stayed and the linen appeared to be fresh.Over all you can’t beat the stay for just over a $100 plus tax.
MoreUnfortunate that this hotel is falling apart. The rooms are dated and the hotel front desk staff is not up to par.Checked in virtually and paid, however I did not receive my mobile key so I had to stop by the front desk. I was informed that check-in was 3:00 PM and a key would be issued then. Never had a problem before when checking in virtually on the app and being told the room was ready to get a hard key when the virtual key was not coming through.I asked if the room was ready and was told it is hut check in is 3. I waited 45 mins in the lobby to get a hard key because the mobile key never arrived. The lobby was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Food stains on the floor and tables. Trash can full from the lunch or night before.WiFi was spotty and not reliable in the lobby or in the rooms.Rooms need upgrading. Bathrooms need repaired. Not what you expect from a Courtyard franchise hotel:
MoreTheir Event coordinator Alaina is awful and impossible to get in contact with. She ignores calls, voicemails, and emails! It doesn’t matter how many times YOU reach out and try to give them your business.SHE WILL NOT RETURN YOUR CALL or even have the decency to entertain you. We have been trying to get in contact with someone from the hotel for months! We wanted to book a room block for 30+ rooms and rent out one of their conference rooms for 5 days. Apparently that’s not enough business for them to have the decency to return a phone call.
