Based in Cincinnati, La Salle High School is a Catholic, college preparatory high school for men in grades nine through 12. Founded in 1960 by the Christian Brothers, it offers a range of learning, extracurricular and athletic opportunities. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as business education, computer science, English, fine arts, foreign languages, mathematics, religion study, science, social studies and physical education. The school s library has a large collection of books, magazines, CDs, newspapers, maps, dictionaries, encyclopedias and other reference materials. Its school-within-a-school program provides additional support for selected students who need additional structure in their educational environment. In addition, the school provides various athletic activities, including soccer, swimming, wrestling, tennis, track, golf, baseball, basketball and cross country.
