Take route 21 out of Cimarron, New Mexico and you are on the Santa Fe Trail. An interesting and scenic drive of about 30 to 40 miles that takes you to Springer and the Santa Fe Trail museum. I love history so it was exciting for me to be on the trail but it may not be for everyone. Interstate 25 is close to Springer to take you to your next adventure faster.
