Reviews
tripadvisorThis hotel was simply a great experience. The place was clean, attractive, and well kept up, and the staff were helpful. The rooms were briskly clean and quiet, the bathroom clean and well-functioning, the AC effective, and the pool was clear and fresh. The hallways were even bright with clean carpet, Lastly, the breakfast was “one of the best ever,” according to my daughter. Simply a place where we’d return in a heartbeat!
MoreAvoid this hotel if you want a peaceful and restful stay. It is a huge conference center with multiple enormous conference/function rooms and hosts events of hundreds of people. I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel where a very large conference took place. The whole hotel was as busy as Atlanta airport over the Thanksgiving week. On Saturday night there was a function with a DJ that went on until 1.00am with very loud music I could hear and feel on the 3rd floor, with guests returning to their rooms until 2.00am. I did not sleep until 2.30am.When I spoke to the front desk, no explanation, no what can we do to make this better for you - nothing. The couldn't care less.On the positive side, as an Elite they gave me breakfast vouchers for the weekend, and the room was clean and recently updated. Unless you are staying here for a conference DO NOT STAY HERE, you will be sorely disappointed and if there is a weekend conference you won't sleep until 2.30am if there is music that can be heard all throughout the hotel.Stay somewhere else, please.
MoreFor starters the hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was phenomenal! The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The beds were incredibly comfortable for a hotel (I’m a bit of a bed snob). I can’t thank Mr. Miguel Gutierrez enough for the all the help and the last second reservations at 11 o’clock at night when our previous hotel was nothing as pictured. Breakfast was good and the wait staff was awesome and incredibly kind! 10/10 would stay here again!
MoreFirst things first don’t get put in the back tower with a room facing the interstates unless one is able to put up with traffic noise. The room we had was odd. A spacious living/bed area and a small bath and shower where it was hard to maneuver. A lot of wasted space and the owners should be asking for their $$$ back from the designer. Garbage cans had not been emptied and halls needed vaccumed. Way too much wasted space in this place. Security can be improved.
MoreWe stayed at the Marriott Indianapolis East for two nights while attending the Indy 500 and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and check-in at the front desk was quick and easy. The hotel was conveniently located, making it an easy drive to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from. The only downside was our room view, which looked directly at a brick wall. As a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member, I had hoped for a room with a better view. That said, this was a minor issue and did not affect our overall stay as we did not spend a whole lot of time in the room.Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and would gladly stay here again when visiting Indianapolis.
