Nestled amidst numerous attractions and landmarks like Space Needle, Seattle Center, IMAX Theater and Chihuly Gardens, the International Fountain never fails to capture the attention of the visitors. Join in the fun with kids and beat the summer heat by playing in the water. Else, you can sit on the rim and watch as the spacecraft-like art installation at the center throws out water at jet speed. The fountain is bound to bring out the kid in you.

tripadvisorThe thing about this fountain is that it feels like clean summer showers, storms and drizzles when under the long spouts of water. The way you play in the big, huge, powerful, and beautiful fountain is up to you. You can stand in one place, run around, dance, play, or watch the water glisten and sparkle in the sunlight, making a rainbow. And it’s safe too! Worried about slipping? MOST of the rock is too rough for that! (For some reason near the edges there’s a brick, smooth part though. But many people don’t ever happen to be in that exact spot.) I highly recommend it for hot sunny days!
MoreThe International Fountain is nice and it’s located in a large sunken bowl type structure. We did not see it at full blast but it’s ok. Not a lot to it however.
MoreA wonderful place to sit and relax, visit with friends, eat lunch, people watch, or bring the kiddos to the splash pad. Close to the Space Needle and the Armory Food Hall.
MoreI had been to the Fountain over 50 years ago when the water spouts were in different colors and music was piped out to the fountain as well. It was so very neat to see the fountain again after so many years just wished there was music and color spouts .
MoreBeautiful fountain very close to Armory Food Hall in City Center. Nice breeze and occasional misty air from the fountain to sit and relax. Sit on the benches or the concrete wall, or lay on the concrete wall if you want. Nice place away from the busy crowds to just sit for a little while.
