I came for a tour of the adjoining Oliver Mansion (The History Museum) and went to the Studebaker Museum because my husband wanted. I’m glad I did! Lots of history and fun photo ops!

Great history of the Studebaker company which started with wagons, became the largest auto company in the U.S. prior to World War I - and stayed strong and viable until the early 1960s - going under in 1966. 3 levels of vehicles from all eras complete with signage and history. Studebaker was the largest employer in the area for decades. It is hard now to realize that they were as well known a hundred years ago as GM or Toyota would be today. Very well restored. Takes about an hour and a half to see it all on average.

We found the History Museum on the Harvest Host list so we decided to utilize the stay for our Notre Dsme reunion weekend. We wrapped up the weekend with a visit to the museum and were pleasantly impressed with the tour and museum exhibits. Well worth a visit.

The Studebaker Museum is a great museum. Not only are there Studebakers but Presidential carriages and classic cars. Three floors of cars and artifacts

The Studebaker National Museum is a fact filled journey about American engineering and fortitude. I could have spent considerably more time exploring all the information and exhibits offered. Exhibits are presented nicely and the facility is clean and well maintained. Also, there’s more than just Studebakers on display! Ticket prices include the adjoining History Museum and Oliver Mansion tour. Highly recommended!
