tripadvisorMy husband and I drove 4.5 hours to attend this concert and were staying at the hotel directly across from the venue. We walked over to take a picture with the band’s semi, something we enjoy doing at every concert. While in the parking lot, a security guard told my husband to empty his beer, and he immediately complied. As we walked away, my husband mentioned going back to the hotel for another drink. The guard confronted him, called for backup, told us not to move, and took both of our IDs. When he returned he told us we were no longer allowed to attend the event and we would be arrested if we returned. When I asked what I had done wrong, he simply replied, “Because you were with him.”We did nothing to warrant this treatment, and my husband complied with the guard’s request. The guard’s aggressive behavior and lack of a reasonable explanation were humiliating and completely unacceptable. We regularly attend concerts and have never been treated this way.I urge management to review this incident and address the conduct of the security personnel involved.
MoreI wouldn’t expect much from a little middle of nowhere theater but it’s always a nice experience here. The shows are clean and family friendly. I’ve seen two shows here and both times I felt like if you were overwhelmed by Christianity or something you wouldn’t like it, but for a Christian it’s nice. The show I saw this time was “love comes softly.” It was sweet! The singing and choreo were very impressive.
MoreWe had a great time attending the Stevenson concert. The music hall is an excellent venue. The service provided by the attendants was professional, friendly very enjoyable. We will be back and often.
MoreThis was our first time at the Blue Gate. It is a perfect venue for concerts. Small enough that there isn't a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are excellent. Plenty of nearby parking. Easy access to theater. And you can entertain yourselves before the show just looking at the many posters in the lobby from past concerts. It was a great evening for us.
MoreAmazing concert and great experience at the Blue Gate. Definitely would recommend going… Great food as we ate there and definitely enjoyed it. We walked around in some of the shops and are making plans for the summer to come back to go to more shops…
